In 2013 Theta Chi began an official partnership with the USO, an organization dedicated to keeping our soldiers connected to family, home, and country. When we become aware of a potential violation of University policy we respond appropriately to each individual student involved, however we are unable to hold the chapter accountable for any policy violations, as we would with a recognized club or organizations. I urge the university to recognize the resourcefulness, collaboration and leadership demonstrated by this group of young men in founding a local Kappa Sigma chapter and to consider the many positive contributions of this “unrecognized” student organization that encourages student engagement in both the school and the greater community.
