Users are getting license warning and are disconnected after 60 minutes from WVD Hello, we have a situation that two minutes after logging into a WVD session (Win 10 1903 multi-user), users are getting a warning about an invalid license and they will be logged off after 60 minutes. "REMOTE DESKTOP LICENSE ISSUE" "There is a problem with your Remote Desktop license, and your session will be disconnected in 60 minutes, Contact your system administrator to to fix this problem."
I might give that a try one of the two host groups.

according to Microsoft this is known bug in 1903 and 1909. @rmaestas the fix to correct this is expected end of this month. Sorry for the inconvenience. However, when you check the RDSH server, it says that the original session is still active and didn't enter a disconnected state.
05:47 PM After 60 minutes the session is disconnected. @Nicholas Semenkovich I've tried that command to find the grace days, it says 469... :) We are getting the license errors and MS Support confirmes we are indeed effected by this bug, but the errors are only in the event logs and users are not effected. The entire deployment is operational without any problems since July. 11-13-2019 Workgroup Server 2019 - RD Licensing - No licenses issued, 60 minute client timeout message. I hope anyone can help us with this problem. The event log entries started in October already. I had to change the following registry key to fix it.

Just a little curious about the 469 grace days... Can anyone confirm the fix for this is in KB4528760? @Sascha Stops This is a known issue and we are updating our documentation while working on a fix. I would assume that all users would get this if it is a license issue.
As Microsoft states, “CALs cannot be tracked within a workgroup” (yeah, right!). The issues seemed to be related to licensing somehow having been changed per device instead of per user. sglee.
