Being a Latino is specifically tied to someone born in or with ancestors in Latin America. So if I was born in California, as well as both my parents, and my grandparents’ were born as follows: maternal grandfather-California and paternal grandfather-New Mexico; maternal grandmother-Texas and paternal grandmother-Arizona, where do I even begin to identify myself as?
